Woodard & Curran, a Portland based engineering firm, has just completed its move to the so-called “technology hub” on Munjoy Hill from its outer Congress Street location according to its marketing team.
It is leasing the 5th and 6th floors from Covetrus at 12 Mountford Street – Covetrus supplies veterinary technology and services to its clients nationwide. Covetrus held its grand opening on December 15, 2022. Addressing the attendees was Governor Janet T. Mills (D) who said: “Munjoy Hill is becoming a technology hub.” She added that Maine is becvoming known as the state to move to live, raise a family and start up a new business. Senator Angus King (I) more recently called Maine “the new Florida” because so many people are relocating here. Doug Anderson, a Munjoy HIll resident, said: “Portland is the New Boston.”
