Amanda Castonguay at her 198 Washigton Avenue Yard Sale Today. Behind Amanda are Some of the Handmade Quilts for Sale Today and Tomorrow – from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Amanda Castonguay, a computer programmer with a consulting business, will be hosting the second day of a two-day yard sale on Sunday, September 15 at her 198 Washington Avenue home tomorrow Sunday, September 15th. The hours for the yard sale are from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm – the same as today’s sale.
Amanda, who hails from Bangor, and a friend of hers Michael Lofanye-Legere have collaborated on the two day event – each providing items for this yard sale they no longer need and think someone else may want. Amanda has contributed clothes, a few kitchen items, handmade quilts and small furniture items. Michael, a resident of the Woodfords area of Portland, has donated a significant number of small furniture items as well. to the sale. Sales were good today despite the late summer weather that supported other outdoor activites.
Amanda earned a BS in computer science from USM, Portland, and is a freelancer who does web development and is a software designer. She works remotely from her Washington Avenue home.
