“Dancin’ With  Dylan’ a Fudraiser for Hope Acts This Saturday

You are invited to attend a benefit for Hope Acts on Saturday, September 21st.at Cove Street Arts from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  Cove Street Arts is located at 71 Cove Street on the East End of Portland. Attendees will enjoy live music by The Bob Band and light refreshments.  All proceeds from the event will support Hope Acts programming.

The event “Dancin’ with Dylan,’ will support Maine’s immigrants.  “Dancin’ will feature The Bob Band playing the music of social justice icon, Bob Dylan.  The event will feature uptempo rockers and country waltzes, including Tamborine Man” and others.

Hope Acts helps house asylum seekers.  It’s Hope House in downtown Portland is a home for asylum seekers and a space for individual support.  The non-profit also provides work permit assistance at the Portlad Public Library.  Call 207 – 420-0021 for more information.
