Mainers Want Fresh New Faces to Repesent them in Washington, DC Such as Oyster Farmer and US Marine Vet Graham Platner, 41.
Graham Platner’s campaign for US Senate today debuted a new TV ad that will air during news broadcasts across Maine The 30-second spot, titled “Regularly Scheduled Programming,” calls out Trump for trying to distract Mainers from his failures. In the direct-to-camera spot, Graham hits Donald Trump, saying,
“Graham Platner here, interrupting your regularly scheduled programming of Donald Trump – incited chaos.”
He continues: “But they want us to watch all of this so we don’t start asking questions. Why are we still spending billions of taxpayer dollars to fund other countries wars? Why are electricity bills going up? Why are billonaires and corporations running DC?”
Graham Platner announced last week that the campaign would remain up through the primary, made possible by remarkable fundraising funds. Since launching his campaign in August, Graham has raked in nearly $8 million, primarily from small-dollar donors. Senator Susan Collns (R) has raised about half that amount.
Graham lives in Sullivan with his wife, Amy, just three doors down from the house where he grew up.
