Portland Police were called to a parking lot in the area of 161 Marginal Way on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10:05 am.  A 64 year old woman was sitting in her car in the parking lot when two juveniles entered the vehicle and made hreatening tomments towards her with the front seat robber wielding a knife

The woman was robbed before she exited the car as the pair was unsuccessful in their attempts to start and steal the vehicle.  They quickly fled westbound on Marginal Way.

After an extensive search, the two men were taken into custody by the Portland Police Department three hous later on Oxford Street.  The two juveiles wee charged with Robbery and dtransdported to the Longcreek Youth Developmen Center.

We believe these juveniles have also been involved in other carjackings in the area according to a press release issued by the Portland Police Department early this evening. Investigators are urging anyone who has any information that might assist in this or any other case, call them at 207 – 874-8575.
