REMINDER! Neighborhood Public Meeting; 3/18

Developers of the former Jordan’s Meat plant have scheduled a neighborhood public meeting for tonight at the Public Market, 28 Monument Square on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 6 pm.

According to Gregory R. Krisch, VP, a presenation of the first phase of the development will be given. That includes the hotel, restaurant and condos. His presentation will be followed by another presentation focused on how construction traffic will affect the businesses and residents in the area.

Time wiil be allocated for comments and questions from the neighborhood at the end of the meeting.

The city’s planning board is expected to hold its own public hearing in April before probably giving the complex a thumbs up. The developer hopes to begin construction this spring so that itss construction will be completed by next spring.
