Cash F ound in the Investigatio and Arrest of Staples Yestray Afternoon.

Yesterday, Nichole Staples, 55, of Portland, was arrested during a drug trafficking investigation.    The arrest was made yesterday afternoon on Sherwood Street. Staples was in pssession of 88.4 grams of fentanyl, which can be consiedred lethal at two milligrams.  She also had $2,164. in cash in her possession.  Staples was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.

She was charged with Ulawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Violating Conditions of Bail and had nine outstanding warrants for her arrest.
