Trump announced this afternoon that he will not participate in a second debate with VP Kamala Harris.   Why?  HUH?

Trump said that since he won the first debate against VP Harris on Tuesday evening, there doesn’t need to be another one.  He said that the VP lost the debate and so she wants a rematch to get another shot at him.  Trump is the only one who belives that, but he does have a reality problem.

Charlie Sykes, political commentator on MSNBC, said this afternoon that based on Trump’s performance on Tuesday, it’s no wonder he’s running from another debate with the VP.  He went on to say that Trump is still “flailling around”, trying to cast her as a dangerous radical.  It’s not working for him, Sykes said.  “Trump is not surrounding himself with campaign advisors, but with intenet influencers who are pushing their extreme right wing agenda:  racism.

Possibly one of those Sykes was referring to is the race-baiting Laura Loomer, who is resposible for repulsive comments about VP Harris’s heritage..  Loomer has been traveling with Trump on his plane in recent days.  That includes  attending the 9/11 Remembrance in New York City, although she charged, incorrectly,  that the terrorist attack on the US was an “inside” job.

At a huge, enthusiast rally in Charlotte, North Carolina early this afternoon, VP Harris began her comments with:  “I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate.”

Late this afternoon at a Tucson, Arizona rally, Trump complained about moderator David Muir and that he used to like him.  But he said that he would never watch Muir again and at one point called for him to be fired,  made fun of the VP’s first name, and said that everyone knows that he won the debate monumentally before CNN stopped covering  the rally in favor of other news.

Before coverage of his rally ended by CNN, Trump said he knew nothing about “Project 2025” the Heritage Foundation’s alarming agenda for a Trump presidency. His vice president running mate JD Vance has been intimately involved with its production. Trump said he had never read the document and had no interest in reading it..  Unfortunately, this blogger was unable to write down everything Trump ranted about because I couldn’t write that quickly!  But it was mostly out of his old playbook because as Charlie Sykes said earlier in the day:  Trump is flailling!  Former Missouri Senator turned political commentator for MSNBC, Claire McCaskill, said this afternoon:  Trump has retreated into his comfort zone after his loss to VP Harris earlier this week.  And any staff member who tries to pry him from that place will get fired..

Do you suppose the Haitians who live in Springfield, Ohio Trump accused of eating neighbors dogs and cats beleve anything Trump says? Do you?
