“No arrests, no danger to the public” is the response recived by this blogger early this morning from the Portand Police Department’s spokesman regarding the shooting death of Susan McHugh, 54, of Gray. late last month.  Three other individuals were injured during an altercation on Forest Avenue that happened on July 30, 2024.

The lack of addidtional details released to the press has frustrated some of the local press who has called the Portland Police “tight-lipped.” in that privacy during the on-going investigation.
