This is Maine’s Most Scenic Race Venue!

Registration is now open for the Tenth Annual Ocean Commotion 5K Race or Walk.  It is scheduled for October 19, 2024 on Hermit Island Campground, at 6 Hemit Island Camground, in Phippsburg.

You may participate either competitively or leisurely with friends, family and your canine companion while supporting marine mammals and sea turtle conservation.  The course is appropriate for participants of all fitness levels and takes runners, joggers, walkers and their canine companions along trails by the ocean, offering stunning coastal scenery and freedom from traffic noise.

All funds raised directly aid our response, care, research and education programs.
