You are invited to attend a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Portland Friends Meetinghouse, 1837 Forest Avenue.  The meeting starts at 5:30 pm.

The meeting is to discuss plans for the proposed redevelopment of 1871 Forest Avenue and the assocated major site plan application that was recently submited to the city of Portland.  The project proposed demolshing the existing abandoned structure and constructing a 4-story affordacble mlulti-family apartment building with 33 dwelling uits on the west side of the parcel.  The project will include additional internal residential amenity areas, exterior amenity spaces and various infrastructure upgrades.
