Portland Trails is pleased to announce the hiring of Kelsey George as the oganizatins new Director of Philanthropy. Kelsey has exceptional experience cultivating major gifts and is well-positioned to lead Portland Trails into a new chapter of financial and programmatic growth.
“Kelsey brings a passion for community engagement and support in the nonprofit sector,” says Jon Kachmar, Executive Director of Portland Trails. “We are thrilled to have her as a team member at Portland Trails.”
Previously, Kelsey was the Major Gifts Officer at the Island Institute where she contributed to a successful $25 million comprehensive campaign and secured five-and six-figure gifts for the organization. Before that, she served as a Donor Relations Associate at Sustainable Harvest International where she supported development operations and cultivated relationships with supporters of programs focused on regenerative agriculture and forest restoration. In total she brings twelve years of nonprofit development experience to her new role at Portland Trails.
