The 9/11 Memorial at Ft. Allen Park. on Munjoy Hill, .

The City of Portland officials along with the Portland Fire Department and the Portland Police Department will join on Friday, September 11, 2026 for a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial in Fort Allen Park.  The event starts at 8:30 am.

Fire Chief Chad Johnston and Police Chief Mark Duois will participate in a wreath laying ceremoy followed by a MOMENT OF SILENCE AT 8:46 AM to mark the 25th aniversary of the terriorist attacks where 2,753 lives were lost, including 403 first responders.
