A meeting between Housing Management Resources, Portland city officals and Maine State Housing, was scheduled to be held on Tuesday,February 15, 2022, to assess whether or not the  demolition of two townhouses and the ramifications thereof that burned last month in the 3-alarm fire at Island View Apartments, 117-119 North Street on Munjoy Hill –  should happen.

For example, are the townhouses on either side stable enough to withstand the demoliltion of the two burned townhouses.

All eight units on North Street have been condemned because they don’t have running water, heat and gas.  The cause of the fire is still unkown or at least not public at this tim

Mhn.com has called Housing Management Resouces, owner or manager of the large complex, multiple times to determine the outcome of that meeting.  However, the Massachusetts company has not returned the call or respond by email as was suggested by this blogger to learn the outcome of the above meeting or the status of the situation generally.
