East End Community School, North Street, on Munjoy Hill.

As Munjoy Hill’s young students at the East End Community School head into the summer season, there is a need for summer clothing to help carry them through the season and into the fall.

The need for summer clothing runs from PreK – 5th Grade students at the east end school.

Here is what is needed:  sneakers, sandals, shorts, socks, summer dresses, t-shirts and swimsuits.  The sizes for shores are 13 – 8 and clothes 3-12.  Please donate these items if you can either new or “like new” before JUNE 9TH.  You can drop these items off in the bin at the school’s front door.  If you’d like to make a cash contribution, please write a check to the East End School.

Ms. Di’s Closet, the name of the summer clothing drive was named to honor a longtime teacher, Diana Warren, whose love and care for her students for many years has been an inspiration to our teachers, parents and students.

Thank you in advance for whatever assistance you are able to give in this important endeavor!

The public is invited to the 8th Annual Glee Club Concert on June 13th at 5:30 pm at the School Cafeteria.
