If the Trump Machine wants to work on lowering the cost of groceries, housing and other basics, Congresswoman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said he will “lend a hand” across the aisle to assist in this goal. But if Trump wants to start wars with our neighbors, the Congressman won’t be part of that agenda he said following the noontime inauguration of CF Trump yesterday.
Furthermore, Congressman Swalwell attended the Inauguration ceremony at noon, but said he did not attend any of the luncheon celebrations following the Inauguration of CF.
Drring his campaign for the Presidency last year, CF emphasized his campaign was about lowering inflation – that is the cost of basics. But since his election he has opined that once prices have risen, it’s hard to bring them back down again. Other prominent democrats have expressed a similar willingness to assist the Trump Machine in improving the lives of all Americans. But democrats have expressed their lack of interest in participation in CF’s Revenge and Retribution campaign.
Yesterday afternoon from his Oval Office perch, CF signed numerous executive orders to be enacted immediately. One of the most controversial was his blanket pardoning of all the January 6 imprisoned assailants on the nation’s capitol. Fifteen Mainers were pardined by CF including Kyle Fitzsimmons., 39, of Lebanon. No exceptions for violent offenders were made by CF. The assault on the capitol was a violent effort spearheaded by CF himself to prevent the succession of President Biden to his rightfully elected position as President of the US. None of the mutitude of Executive Orders signed by CF involved lowerig the costs of basics for Americans as pledged during his campaign.
“Flooding the zone” with so many unpopular execudtive orders was the strategy of CF’s signing events yesterday. The strategy was to overwhelm those in favor of keeping US’s democracy so they would be unable to respond appropriately. However, those who support democracy were ready for this stunt and are responding appropriately via our judicial systems.
Congressman Swalwell, also an attorney, has filed a lawsuit against CF in the US District Court of Columbia.
