City Hall Closed at Noon Today Because of the Snow Storm.

Portland has just called a city-wide parking ban for this evening starting at 10:00 pm – until tomorrow Friday, February 10, at 6:00 am.  Vehicles left on the streets of Portland may be towed at the owners’ expense.

City spokesperson Jessica Grondin has announced as well that City Hall and associated buildings are closing at noon today because of the storm.  The Finance Committee meeting scheduled for this evening is also cancelled.

By noon, both Cutter Street and the allocated snow ban parking space on the Eastern Promenade had no vacancy spaces left for snow ban parkers.
