The public can also cool off at the downtown Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square on Thursday, June 20 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. (Please note that the Library is closed on Wednesday, June 19 in honor of the Juneteenth Holiday).
Additionally, the city urges people to take advantage of Deering Oaks Ravine, the Kiwanis Pool and the several splash pools around the city.
