The City Council election is approaching fast. If you can assist, a canvassing campaign for Joey Brunelle is set for this Sunday, September 10, 2017. Please meet the group at 171 Cumberland Avenue, in front of Ten Ten Pie starting at noon.
The first shift of two runs from noon – 2:00 pm and the second runs from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The canvassing locations are Bayside and Munjoy Hill.
Joey, a web creator, is running for the at-large-seat currently occupied by Councilor Jill Duson. Councilor Duson needs to be replaced because she has been in office for too many years now. Portland is a different place from when she first came into office and she has not kept pace with the issues that confront Portland residents today. Joey is the right person to replace Duson.
MHN.com still calls upon Bree LaCasse, who works for a real estate developer, to withdraw from the race in order to give Joey a large and decisive majority over Duson. Although some in the press and in the progressive movement, are branding LaCasse as progressive, that’s incorrect. LaCasse is no more progressive than Councilor Duson. Thank you in advance for assisting in getting Joey elected by a decisive majority.
