Rosemont Market & Bakery, 88 Congress Street, is to be Replaced by a Barber Shop.

A Second Memorial has Been Established in Memory of Joe Lewis, at the corner of India and Fore Streets, Portland, where an Unidentified Driver Struck Him and Killed Him.

A barber shop will be replacing the  Rosemont Market & Bakery, 88 Congress Street on Munjoy Hill, said an employee this afternoon.  The last day of business for the Market is Friday, January 31st.  The store must have its equipment out of the building and vacate the building by February 10 she said.

After 17 years of business at thi location, the owner has decided to close the store.  He cites “operational challenges” as one of the factors for its closing. Meanwhile, some items are on sale.  That includes 20% off on selected wines.

The employee did not know when the Barber Shop would open.
