Mainers Crave Fresh New Faces to Represent them in Washington, DC Such as Oyster Farmer and US Marine Vet Graham Platner, 41. He Served in Leadership Roles in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yesterday, Spineless Collins (R) said She was “offended” by Online Remarks of Mr. Platner’s in the Past.  Apparently Collins Has no Idea How Offended Voters are Because of Her Support for Anti-abortionist Justice Kavanaugh and Nutjob RFK, Jr.

“The launch this week of 77-year old Janet Mills Senate campaign in Maine reignites a debate about age among Democrats,” is the opening sentence in a report issued early this morning  by “The Maine Monitor.”

If elected to the Senate,  Governor Mills would be the oldest freshman senator ever.   She would be eighty (80) years old.   Now, we know that the Governor is proud of setting records in her public career:  she was the first woman Attorney General in Maine as well as the state’s first woman Governor.  Both records to be proud of.  But does she need to set another record as being the oldest freshman senator ever?  Is that on her bucket list too?

According to the same report, Jordan Wood, who is also in the Blue US Senate race to unseat the Spineless Susan Collins (R) said:  “We are living in a crisis for our country and in part that is because of Joe Biden’s inabiliy to be our nominee.  And we’re reminded of that reality and that failure of Democratic leadership on a daily basis.  So I don’t know how it can not be a consideration,” Wood said referring to the issue of age in this race.

The same report says that:  “Mills told news outlets this week that she would commit to serving just one six-year term in the Senate, if elected.”  Following her reelection to Governor, this blogger attended a press conference in the conference room of her office suite at the capitol in Augusta.  This blogger asked the Governor what she liked best about being Governor.  She responded, grinning broadly:  “I like it all.  But I especially like that I will never have to run a campaign for office again.”  Maybe she doesn’t remember that comment to me at the state house in Augusta.   But I do. Will she remember her pledge to seek only one Senate term should she unseat Spineless Susan Collins (R)?

What haven’t we learned from the memory lapses and broken promises of King Trump during his short tenure in office so far?   “It’s just good, common sense,” says this blogger.  “Nothing more.”
