The State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating a fire that was reported shortly after 2:00 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.  The fire occurred at a buiding located at 4 Wabanaki Way on Indian Island, just outside of Old Town.  The building is owned by the Penobscot Nation.
