Hearts of PIne Granted USL W League Franchise, Bringing a Women’s Soccer Team to Maine in May of 2027

Today marks another major milestone for soccer in Maine, as season ticket deposits for USLW Maine’s  inaugural season open at noon.

The neew women’s team has been part of the club’s vision from day one:  a team for Maine, built by Maine, and rooted in the same community-first spirit that has powered Hearts of Pine.

“This is a great day for soccer in Maine,” said Hannah Sirois, Vice President of Fan Experience at Portland Hearts of Pine.  “From the begniing, we have believed this ecommunity could support something bigger.  Opening season ticket deposits is an important step toward bringing a women’s team to the pitch and creating more opportunities for players, fans and famililes across the state.”

Season ticket deposits open today at 12 pm.

The club is remiding fans that all supporters interesed in placing a deposit will need to create a new Vivenu account before purchasing.  Deposits will help fans secure their place for the team’s first season and be part of the next chapter in the growth of the game across the state.
