This Monument is the Location for Several Winter Clothes Drives Comng up This Week.

Two Winter Clothes Drives for Portlanders in Need are being held this week at the juncture of Congress Street and the Eastern Promenade at the Monument.  The first Drive will be held on Wednesday, October 26 – hrough Thursday, October 27, 2022 between 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  The second Drive will be held on Saturday, October 29, from noon – 3:00 pm.

Donations needed include:   socks, jackets, blankets, hats, gloves, boots, Thermals,  Toiletries, ETC!

Donations will be given to the Preble Street Resource Center for its distribution to those in need.  This information was gleaned from posters seen in the Eastern Promenade area in recent days.
