What Susan Collins did SHOULD be Criminal Says US Senate Candidate Graham Platner

Graham Platner Addressed his Supporters in Blue Hill on Primary Day, June 9th.  He Won the Maine  Democratic Primary Election by a Record Settng 70% Victory.

Get Out and Vote – Democracy is on the Ballot.  Senator Susan Colllins (R) Should Not be!

in a sign that Graham Platner’s anti-corruption agenda has struck a nerve, Susan Collins is now dismissing well-documented reporting about her corruption — including funneling more than $76 million in federal contracts to her husbnd’s lobbying firm and violating the STOCK Act over two dozen times.

Today, Graham Platner doubled down in saying what Mainers, who have been sold out and left behind by Susan Collins’ decades-long pay-to-play charade, ae all thinking:  what Susan Collins did SHOULD be criminal.

That’s why yesterday Graham released his anti-corruption agenda and the “Collins Rule,” which would require senators to recuse themselves from any vote, devision or oversight activity involving an agency from which theier spouse’s firm receives government contracts.  The plan also cracks down on congressional stock trading, dark money and the legalized corruption that Susan Collhas has enabled for decades.

Platner resonded to Collins’ latest spin with the following statement:

“I didn’t say WHAT Susan C ollins did is criminal.  I said i SHOLD be criminal.  She got incredibly wealthy, funneling taxpayer money o her husband and pdrofitng off stock trading while in office (violating the STOCK Act 25 times).  In a reasonable society, that wold be criminal.  Unfortunately, corrupt politicians like her still write our laws,” Platner concluded.
