A warming center for anyone needing a warm place to stay will be opening at First Parish Church. 425 Congress Street, Portland Saturday, January 6th  at 3:00 pm according to Philip Ptacin, a voluteer at the historic church. The warming center will run through Monday, January 8, morning.  Food will be provided.

The church is partnering with the city of Portland who will provide trained personnel to assist in this project.
