You are encouraged to volunteer in a city-wide pickup with a special focus on the Washington Avenue area on Saturday, May 3rd.   It runs from 10:00 am – to 12:00 pm.

To volunteer in the Washington Avenue pickup, please meet at the North Street Community Garden, at 195 North Street at 10:00 am.  Just bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, water and sunscreen.  Enjoy free coffee and donuts while you volunteer.  When you fill out the waiver, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a raffle prize.

To volunteer for the India Street cleanup, please meet at Cloudport Coworking at 63 Federal Street  To volunteer in the Bayside Community Garden, please meet at the garden entrance at 78 Chestnut Street.

The event is hosted by the Portland Parks Conservancy and the Sustainability Office.

There is no need to sign up to volunteer – just show up!
