Veterans Day ceremonies in the city of Portland will be held on Friday, November 11th and include the annual parade that starts at Longfellow Square at 10:30 am.  The parade proceeds along Congress Street to city hall where a wreath laying ceremony begins at 11:00 am and follows the conclusion of the parade.

The Harold T. Andrews Post 17, American Legion is hosting the parade and wreath laying ceremony.with speakers.  The names of the speakers were not announced in the press release issued this afternoon.
