Two Homeless Men Arrested Following Drug Bust on Temple Street

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximaely 9:14 am., officers from the Portland Police Department responded to 15 Temple Street where a business owner requested that two men be trespassed from the property.

Upon arrival, officers observed one individual pass an item to the other in what appeared to be an attempt to conceal it.  During the encounter, one of the men dropped a baggie containing suspected drugs and both individuals were subsequently detained and searched.

As a result of the investigation, officers recovered approximately 41 grams of fentanhyl and 13.6 grams of methamphetamine.

Timothy Clark, 56 and homeless was arrested and charged with multiple crimes.  Derek Weeks, 46, who is also homeless, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Both men were transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
