The knee-jerk reaction of the “Trump Times” in ditching President Joe Biden in favor of  Donald Trump for re-election can mean only one thing:  This preposterous reaction means that the New York based newspaper  really wants Donald Trump to be the next president of the US.

Last week. following the poor performance of President Biden on the debate stage, “Trump Times” called him to step aside.  It didn’t state who should replace him, however.

The short-sighted “Trump Times” should step aside from its naive political views because voters would be better off for that.  Nary a word was written by the editorial board about Trump’s lie ridden claims that the CNN moderators failed to refute.  Apparently Trump’s lies  were okay with the editorial board and with the CNN moderators,  “I’ve never been impressed with either Dana Bash or Jake Tapper, CNN moderators.  “Tapper always looks like he’s on the verge of tears,” said this blogger. “The two are the weakest links on CNN. They too are responsible for this fiasco because they were in over their heads.”

The “Trump Times” anti-Biden declaration is a troublesome reminder of the Republican “James Comey moment” before the 2016 Presidential election..  Just two weeks  before that election attorney Comey, then the Director of the FBI, announced that he was reopening an investigation into the Democratic  Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s emails. There was no “there there.”  Many, including this blogger, believe that this was a deliberate and successful effort by Comey to impact the outcome of the 2016 election.  Trump couldn’t have won without the help of Comey.

“I’m concerned about what President Biden couldn’t say on the debate stage, but i”m more concerned about the sentences that Trump does finish”, said Rev, Al Sharpton. on MSNBC cable news early this morning.  “There is no such thing as Black or White jobs.  They are all American jobs,” said Congressman James Clayborn (D) of South Carolina.  He was refuting the Trump lies on the debate stage last week that immigrants are taking jobs from the Black population of this country.  “Trump divides the country so he can be an autocrat,” said Clayborn.
