“I’m entitled to attack her,” said Donald Trump at a ramblng economic news conference late this afternoon at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf resort. “That’s because I’m angry at her and what she is doing to the country.” Trump added that he had “no respect for her and her intelligence. She’ll make a bad president,” he said among his kinder remarks about VP Harris..
Despite numerous calls from Trump allies to quit the personal attacks on Vice President Harris, he persisted this afternoon. When a reporter reminded him that Nikki Haley had urged him to stop the personal attacks saying this is not the way to win elections, Trump said today: “I’ll do it my way.”
When another reporter asked “Donald Duck” about several polls that are showing him trailing VP Harris, he interprupted her and started to talk about China, Trump said that VP Harris is “undefined. People don’t even know her last name,” he said. So he set out to define her in advance of her economic speech tomorrow – Friday, August 16, 2024.
Much of his rants revolved around his legal troubles. “They want me to be nice. They want to put me in prison and I did nothing wrong. I have a gag order. There has never been a politician with a gag order on him.” He called the judges and prosecutors involved in his legal issues “crooks.” Somethng he knows a lot about.
“Where is Senator Susan Collins (R) on this? Does she think that Trump should stop these repugnant & repulsive attacks on VP Harris? We’ll never know because the spineless Senator remains mum on the subject,”‘ said this blogger.
