Starting on Monday, October 4th, attendance at three city buildings will require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test results. In addition, face masks will be required to be worn at all indoor events. This is required because of the rise of the highly contagious Delta variant across the state and the nation according to a press release issued today by the city.
For all publicly attended events, all attendees age 12 and over will be required to provide proof of vaccination against CVID-19 or provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event start time or a negative rapid test within 12 hours prior to the event start time. A photo-ID will also be required. Additionally, facemasks are required for all attendees over 2 years of age and are to be worn at all times while at the facilities, unless actively eating or drinking.
