Popular “FLUKES” Performing at First Friday Art Walk at Monument Square

The “FLUKES” (Falmouth Library Ukulele Ensemble) will be performing for the community during Portland First Friday Art Walk on September 5th between 5:30 – 6:30 pm.  The performance will take place at Monument Square in downtown Portland.

This popular group is composed of over 30 active members. Led by their fearless leader, Nina, the group will play in sand, surf, sun and snow according to a press release just issued.  The group has performed throughout Maine, including a debut with the Portland Symphony Orchestra at “Magic  of Christmas” and in the Yarmouth Clam Festival parade.  Look for a TV commercial for RENY’s coming to your favorite network soon!

The group is also scheduled to appear on the Bridge Bash on Sunday, September 15th between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  Details to be announced here soon.

Better yet, hear the group on Friday, September 5th at Monument Square at 5:30 pm.  It should be fun!
