The public is invited to join a rally tomorrow, Saturday, February 11th at 10:30 am in downtown Portland. Protesters will meet at Lobsterman Park and commence outside the Nickelodeon Cinema and continue to the TD Bank Head Office.

Protesters are demanding that banks divest from the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) and raise awareness about the ongoing and potential future impact of the pipeline on human life and fresh water.  Elimination of the Environmental Impact Statement and waiving of Congressional Hearings are unusual by passes being encouraged by the Trump administration.

The rally is hosted by a number of non-profits from across the State of Maine.
