The South Portland Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 88 year old William Monterio of South Portland.  Mr. Monterio left his home on Vivian Street at 1015 am this morning, but never arrived at his destination.  Mr. Monterio who suffers from cognitive issues was due home by 1;00 pm., but he has not been seen or heard from.  He is a whie male, 6’00”, 190 lbs with gray hair and hazel eyes.  He is driving a gray 2011 Honda Accord with Maine Registration 56455SM.

The alert was issued at 5:22 pm today by Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
