“Shop Around the World,” a new collaborative between the Friends of Woodfords Corner (FWC) and the city of Portland spotlights the diversity of ethnic grocers and minority-owned businesses in the Woodfords Corner neighborhood.  It debuted on August 15 at the second annual Woodfords Corner Farmers Market, located in a section of the Woodfords Congregational Church parking lot.

This collaboration features tents for three local grocers, offering them a unique opportunity to promote their products, share their stories and connect with the community.  By providing this opportunity, the inclusion intends to increase their exposure to shoppers at the Farmers Market at Woodfords Corner.

The Woodfords Corner Farmers Market convenes every Thursday between 3:00 – 7:00 pm during the summer and through October.
