Serious Motorcycle Crash by Bangor Man Under Investigation

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 7:05 pm., Maine State Police Troop 1 Troopers responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on the northbound on-ramp to !-95 at mile marker 133 in Farifield.

Upon arrival, Troopers found a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle on its side.  Bystanders were attempting first aid on the operator, who sustained life-threatening injuries after striking a guardrail.  The operator, Kyle Trull, 40, of Bangor, was initially transported to Maine General Medical Center in Waterville before being flown by LIfeflight to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Trull is currently listed in critical condition.  The initial investigation indicates that speed was likely a contributing factor in the crash.  Trull was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The crash remains under investigation accordig to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Augusta.
