Graham Platner, US Candidate from Maine, Appeared on Chris Hayes Cable Evening News Tonight; He Knocked it Out of the Park!

In a desperate effort to knock the enormously popular Graham Platner out of the upcoming June 9th Maine primary, MAGA Member Collins staged a fabricated attack on him that backfired on her. Graham’s primary antagonist is a woman who charged him with all manner of incivility during their relationship although it fell short of her experiencing any physical harm or injury. She is a volunteer with the Collins’ campaign. Does that surprise you? Not me. The unflappable Graham enjoys a consistent lead in the approval polls over MAGA Member Collins – and that consistency must be panickig the heck out of the Corrupt Trump and his minions. Corrupt Trump needs Collins to continue to acquiesce to his illegal policies.
In over 80 EIGHTY town halls across the state of Maine, Graham has said he’s not proud of his past following his four tours of duty with the US military overseas; in Iraq and Afghanistan. Graham said he was medicating himself with liquor. He’s not the first person in the world to do that – nor the last – this blogger knows first hand what’s that like.
The interview with Mr. Hayes was in-depth and far ranging. Graham said that he and his wife expected a dirty campagin from his Republican opponents. So Graham “will push back against patent misinformation” from the Republicans. But he said that he has not run away from these fabrications and he will not. He also said emphatically that he has never considered dropping out of the Senate race in Maine. He has “no regrets” about entering the US Senate race from Maine. “We knew we were going up against an entrenched party machine – we knew that.”
Michael Steele, also of MSNOW, earlier in the evening said that Graham should withdraw from the race. Mr. Steele it is not up to you to tell Mainers how we should run our politics. Later, in the Hayes interview, Graham smartly said he is not running for the US Senate for the approval of “pundits or politicans.” He is running for his constituents – the people of Maine. Mr. Steele – have you ever been to Maine? Probably not.
In a dignified, articulate and convincing manner Graham said: “Throughout this campaign, I’ve been open about what was a very dark period of my life where I struggled with undiagnosed PTSD, too often welf-medicated with alcohol and was far from a perfect boyfriend. I take responsibiity for all of that and wish I had been better. Any characterization beyond that is false and I believe politically motivated. I’m not proud of what I was then, but I am proud of the work I’ve done since the movement we are building in Maine.” Dignified, articulate and convincing – all characteristics that MAGA Member Colllins lacks.
Senator Collins: “Why don’t you undergo similar scrutiny from cable news rather than hiding behind the pages of the “Republic Press Herald?” It’s reporters never ask you a challening question because you have no good answers to them. Why haven’t you held a town hall since the Clinton administration? Because your votes are indefensible.
