It was disclosed today by Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor of the highly-regarded “The Atlantic” magazine that he received detailed plans for the recent US strike on Yemen prior to its implementation on a chat group – called Signal.

Mr. Goldberg was included in the commerciall group chat in which discussions with VP Vance, Secretary of Defense Hegseth, Secretary of State Rubio and US National Security Advisor Michael Walz detailed plans for a US attack.  Walz has served in previous Republican  administration’s known for excellent security practices.

Eighteen people were on the chat group which has raised the question by many as to why so many – did the Secretary of the Treasury “need to know?” This security breach has also raised concerns that this is probably not the first time that the security team has talked about military secrets on Signal.

The ramifications for this extraordinary security breach are alarming and limitless.  Fortunately, Editor Goldberg is a patriotic American who did not divulge war plan details before the strikes happened, although he was privy to that information beforehand.  It has been admitted by the White House that Mr. Goldberg’s  name was added to the group chat by Mike Walz.  Did Walz know who Mr. Goldberg is?.  This chat room is an unclassified system on which classified information should not be discussed.  It’s a commercial chat room called Signal which our adversaries as well as allies have access to.  One critic said this is what happens when you have inexperienced novices in crucial positions.

“I couldn’t believe the messages were real until I heard the bombs were dropping on cue,” said Mr. Goldberg. This security violation adds fuel to the argument that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegeseth is unqualified for this position.  Maybe the Secretary of Defense forgot to keep his promise to stop drinking when he assumed this role.

When asked about the alarming breach of security at the White House, Convicted Felon Trump said he knew nothing about the breach.  He said that he is not impressed with that publication and it is not read by many, a lie.  CF said he beieves that “The Atlantic” magazine is “going out of business” so it really didn’t make any difference what Mr. Goldberg knew of the plans in advance. CF said he has complete confidence in Walz.  However, critics are saying that any member of the military would have been fired immediately under these circumstances.   “The Atlantic” has been critical of the Trump administration in recent issues.

This afternoon Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D) said that as a result of this security breach people could have been killed.  He called for an investigation into how this breach of security happened.  Senator Schumer is the author of the newly released book:  “Antisemitism in America a Warning.”  He has been involved in a generational effort by Congresswoman AOC to takeover leadership of the party.

If you have access to cable news, Mr. Goldberg will appear on CNN cable news this evening at 9:00 pm.
