This is a reminder to you, your friends and neighbors to join them at the NO KINGS Rally on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Deering Oaks Park in Portland. The Rally runs from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm.
As stated previously this is another opportunity to let dictator trump know what you think of his policies:
For example, why did he and Republicans shut down the government rather than addres the cost of health care? Why are his poll numbers dropping so precipitously? Does that have anyting to do with his inhumane treatment toward immigrants in the US? What about his lie to reduce inflation so food prices would not sky rocket as they have? How can Hegseth justify his war on the Pentagon press? How can trump justify his attacks on Venezuelaan boats in international waters? The Dictator will find a lie and the courts are so far countering his lies.
This Rally is expected to be larger than the previous NO KINGS Rally last June 14th – and that was large! It was even larger than the number of people who showed up to celebrate dictator trump’s birthday on Flag Day..
For that Rally there were around 2,100 locations held nationwide For this upcoming Rally on October 18, it is expected Rallies will be held in 2,700 locations in all 50 states Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Could the Dictator muster a similar counter Rally?
A scary prospect for Republicans like Speaker Mike Johnson who has recently begun calling these NO KINGS Rallies “Hate America” rallies. The motive behind this is to scare people into staying away from them. Other Republican cronies of Johnson’s are also ramping up the attacks on the rallies, calling them “violent” rallies. But protestors to trump policies are having no part of it.
Even dictator trump got into the act today when he claimed that not many people are expected to participate in the Rallies this weekend. Rather. record crowds are expected to show up – please join them and stand up to trump and his lies.
A core principle behind all No Kings rallies is a commitment to nonviolent action. The group expects all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential conflict with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind including those legally permitted should not be brought to events.
Rather, please bring your anti-King signs with you and leave your violence at home!
