The Munjoy Hill neighborhood is invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:00 pm, at 58 Fore Street, on the second floor of Building 6, “Room With a View.” Pizza will be served so it would be appreciated if those planning on attending would notify the developer via email: info@cpb2.com prior to the meeting.
Jim Brady, manager of CPB2 LLC will present an overview of the Master Development Plan submission for the future development of 58 Fore Street. It is very comprehensive and so this meeting will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comment.
The Master Plan expresses the vision of the 10-acre waterfront site and lays out the future development blocks, mixed uses and new road infrastructure for the site inspired by the principles set forth in Portland’s Eastern Waterfront Master Plan.
The Planning Board and the Historical Preservation Board have issued a joint press release. According to the city’s press release, the proposed floor area for the uses is 958,670 sq. ft and an additional 435,200 sq. ft of floor area is proposed for structured parking – resulting in a total area of 1,399,879 sq. ft. for the redevelopment of the property. The two city boards will hold a joint workshop on the proposed Master Development Plan on Wednesday, October 20th, 2016 at City Council Chambers, city hall. The workshop will run from 4:30 – 7:30 pm. Public comment will be taken at this meeting.
