A huge book sale that  will offer thousands of books and related items begins this evening  and runs through Sunday,  June 19th.   The 2nd annual book sale takes place at the Catherine McAuley High School Gymnasium, 631 Stevens Avenue, Portland.   The event is sponsored by the Friends of Portland Public Library.

There will be a special preview for members of the Friends today from 5 pm – 7 pm.  The public hours for the book sale are 10 am to 7 pm on Friday, June 17th, Saturday June 18th and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, June 19th.
