The city is hosting a community design workshop this Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at Ocean Gateway Terminal, 14 Ocean Gateway Pier – at the bottom of the Hill.
The purpose is to give the public an opportunity to address questions as they relate to the future of the Maine State Pier using the information gathered during the three previous public meetings. Members of the public will be broken up into groups and taken through a facilitated conversation as they address issues around the Pier. Registration with the city for this workshop can be done at www.portlandmaine.gov and would be appreciated.
The results of the workshop will be presented to the city council on April 29th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall.
