The Maine Red Claws announced today that it will be hosting a viewing party for the 2010 NBA Draft. The party will be at the Asylum, at 121 Center Street, Portland. The NBA Draft takes place Thursday, June 24 starting at 7 pm.

The Celtics have two selections in the first and second rounds of the 2010 Draft, including the 19th overall pick. The first two rounds will be televised on ESPN.

The Asylum will offer food and drink specials throughout the night, including Gritty’s Red Claws Ale and fans in attendnace will be eligible to win prizes.

2009-10 marked the inaugrual season for the Maine Red Claws. The franchise is owned and operated by Maine Basketball, LLC. The team has becone one of the hottest tickets in sports, setting a league record by selling out their entire home schedule during their inaugural season. The team plays its home games at the Portland Exposition Building, Portland.
