The “No Money for Massacres” rally announced for today outside Congresswoman Chellie Pingree ‘s (D-Maine) Portland office has been postponed it was just announced by Maine Democratic/Socialists of America, the non-profit organizing the event.  It was planned for this afternoon at 3:00 pm.

The reason given for the postponement is the recent mass shootding in Lewiston.  “We are grieving with our community right now and will announce a new date for the rally at a later date,” said the press release.
