The annual Partners for World Health International Artisan Fair is returning next month.  The two day event runs on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 9:00 – 3:00 pm and on Sunday, December 3, 2023 eom 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The location for the Fair is 40 Walch Drive, POrtland.

The crafts come from many of the countries PWH serves including Uganda, Kenya, Bangladesh, Senegal and many others.  It’s a great opportunity to purchase some unique gifts and support PWH in  the impotant work it does round the world.

The non-profit just announced that it is the grateful recipient of a $300,000 grant from The Fargus Foundation.  The money will be distributed over two years.  Each installment of $150,000 is to be allocaated as follows:  $50,000 for container subsidies and $100,000 for biomedical purchases to improve the quality of shipments to countries around the world.
