Mainers Want Fresh New Faces to Repesent them in Washington, DC Such as Oyster Farmer and US Marine Vet Graham Platner, 41.

With six weeks until the Democratic Primary, new reporting revealed that a Super PAC supporting Susan Collins is spending $2 million on negative TV ads against Graham Platner. This comes after the release of the NINTH consecutive poll showing Platner ahead of Collins.
Pine Tree Results is a super PAC funded by Republican billionaires — Blackstone’s Steve Schwarzman, Paul Singer (wealthy fishing buddy of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito), Palantir’s Alex Karp, media mogul John Malone, Kenneth Fisher and Marc Bowan of Apolo Global, among others.
NOT A SINGLE DOLLAR OR DONOR IS FROM MAINE.
Ben Chin, Graham for Maine Campaign Manager, released the following statement:
“What do you get when a dozen of the world’s richest people panic 7 months before an election? The Pine Tree Results Super PAC.
“It’s clear that the establishment on both sides of the aisle is coming for us and that’s because they know what a Graham Platner victory would mean. It would mean campaigns powered by working people can still win. It means the billionaires economy is not untouchable. It means that when Graham says the system can be taken on — he’s right. So now, they’re doing everything they can to stop us.
“While Mills TV ads come off the air, Collins and her team are stepping in to help, making if perfrectly clear: politicians protect their own and government works for them, not for us.
“But here’s what twelve billionaires cannot buy: the 150,000 volunteers knocking on doors across Maine. Over sixty town halls from Kittery to Fort Kent. The nurses, fishermen, teachers and veterans who have given $10 or $25 because they believe Maine deserves a Senator who actually works for them. Billionaires cannot buy this election or the people of Maine.”
“Interestingly, the Mills campaign for the US Senate, has never bothered to respond to this blogger’s recent multiple questions as to whether or not she remains in the Senate race. Is she in or is she out? This lack of communication is a testament to her arrogance for the working people of Maine,” charges this blogger. “To revive an irrelevant governorship, when will this lame duck announce “Black Fly Day” and/or a day to observe “Mud Season” here in Maine?
