You are invited to attend a massive turnout that is expected for Monday, February 17th, a/k/a Presidents Day, to protest the hostile takeover of the US Government by Elon Musk with the support of Convicted Felon Trump.

The Protest is at the State House, 210 State Street, Augusta.  Dubbed “National Not my President’s Day” it runs from noon to 2:00 pm.  It’s part of a national day of protest in which residents of cities of all sizes across the nation are participating.

If you can join this important Protest, please assemble at the State House at 11:30 am for a noon demonstration.  This is a peaceful march and demonstration only.

Signs are recommended if you can make and bring them with you.

Weather conditions and political conditions look good for participants  to wear their  “Pink” hats from the first CF march if you still  have yours!

As a reminder, the pink hats were created in large quantities and used in connection with the US 2017 Women’s March against CF’s War on Women.  The pink hats were the idea of Krista Suh and Jayma Zweiman, both of Los Angeles.  Knitters made them following instructions on the webpage of the two or a pattern of their own design.  Maybe it’s time to break out those pink hats once again!

Unfortunately, Senator Susan Collins (R) is now a bona fide, card carrying member of the CF-Musk takeover of the US government because of her support for most of CF’s cabinet nominations. These card-carrying misfits are dedicated to destroying our democracy because of their stupidity.   And Collins has now officially signed on to that team. She needs to be replaced.  If you want to tell her that, her DC office phone number is:  202 224-2523.  Her local office number is 207 – 618-5560.  But, don’t be surprised if you are unable to get through to either of those offices your first try. The volume of phone calls to both offices has been so large, staff has been forced to take the phone off the hooks.  Keep trying, though!
