On Friday, July 31, 2026 at approximately   8:00 am, Portland Police responded to Cotton Street for a report of an assault.

Responding officers located a 61 year old male victim who reported being assaulted with a lead pipe.  The victim was transported to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, including a laceration to his head.

A few hours later, Portland Police arrested Kassandra-Ann Warren, 26, of Portland, charging her with Aggravated Assault and Reckless Conduct.  She was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
