On Friday, October 7, 2022, just after 12:00 pm., the Portland Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment on Grant Street in connectin with a criminal investigation.  The department’s Special Reaction Team (SRT) was used to execute the warrant because of the nature of the investigation according to a press release issued this afternoon by the Police Department.

The apartment was secured within a matter of a few minutes and roads that had been closed were quickly reopened.  Investigators will remain on scene to complete the search.

The Police Department will not be releasing any further information at this time except to say that there is no danger to the public.
